Recent family pictures of random things

Before the 'random pictures of various things', just wanted to share an "Andrew-update." Andrew will have his eye-surgery on January 16th. It is a simple procedure that takes about 45 min. The doctor will "do some fixin'" on the muscles around Andrew's eyes. He will be 'asleep' and they say the 'recovery time' is very quick, although his eyes will look bloodshot for a few weeks - always something to keep in your prayers. As I like to tease, on the 16th the Doctor will finally 'knock the cross-eye outta him."

Now, for various 'recent' photos:
November 22, 2007, Thanksgiving Day: Why having a girl might be a good thing, as far as the Parker family is concerned; and these are just the little boys under 3-1/2 or so...there are more! Also on Thanksgiving day; Andrew playing with one of his few girl cousins in the Parker family, little Channing, nearly a year old...

Sunday, November 18: I took this shot of Susan at a recent baby shower, holding the newborn (a girl)...perhaps similar to scenes we'll see in the coming year, eh?

Tuesday the 18th: Susan and I took Andrew to the Denver Botanical Gardens "Blossoms of Light" - Although the photos don't do it justice, it was really incredible, Mom especially would have loved it; imagine a fairly large outdoor botanical garden with over 1 million Christmas lights....cool stuff.

That same night, I took a liking to one of the many statues sitting around the park; since we weren't officially touching lips, it doesn't count as 'marital unfaithfulness'....

And finally, two nights ago, Andrew officially started on his way to 'big-boy-hood.' He requested to take his nap and go night-night on the bed in his room. Here he is, after his first night, and daddy just turned the light on....now if we can only figure out the whole 'potty-training' thing....

Merry Christmas everyone!

Mark and Susan and Andrew

Thanks for the photos. I like the new family friendly blog. I hope the family is doing well and the ministry is growing.
