Pregnancy Shot, 33(?) weeks
Thank you all for your prayers, continue to pray for a healthy pregnancy and a safe (and easy) delivery....(Mark can't handle hospitals and delivery rooms too well!) ;-)
Susan's Birthday!
Thanks everyone for the gifts, they were all wonderful, thanks for making the day special.
Susan's birthday has now come and gone: I can rest easy until Christmas! Here are a few photos from the event - I think the clothes and blanket will be keepers; the new 'window treatments' I attempted to get her for the dining room....well, they shouldn't get to comfortable at our house just yet! ;-(

Silly Shots with Daddy...

Pregnancy Picture, 30 weeks
Here is a photo I snapped of Susan last Friday- You can compare it to the one from 5-6 weeks ago (scroll down a handful of posts, in December).
She is now being asked to come in for weekly checkups. Speaking of checkups, Andrew has an eye appointment this Thursday. Everyone can pray that all that goes well - I inwardly dread the doctor saying 'I almost got them right, let's do one more" or something like that. His swelling and bloodshot eyes make it hard to see if everything is going to be perfect, but I will say that one eye that was really lazy is straight and true.

Post Surgery
Andrew's surgery went as well as can be expected, and he is recovering quite nicely. He is getting to watch a lot of Veggie Tales and other cartoons these days as he 'recoups'.
I took these photos this morning while he was eating breakfast. His left eye is straight as an arrow (the one that wandered). We hope they didn't overcompensate on the right (normal) eye, but it's hard to tell for awhile. His eyes are bloodshot on both corners, and you can see his bruises under his eyes.
He is in very good spirits, especially since he gets to watch his favorite DVDs. He is a tough little fella; tougher than his daddy, that's for sure. My prayer is that there is no 'follow-up' surgery, but we'll take it as it comes.
Thanks to all for the prayers, phone calls, meals, e-mails, cards, coffee, and presents. What a great blessing it is not only to have a caring physical family, but a wonderful spiritual family as well.
